Master Alloy:
The master alloy purpose is mainly to obtain certain chemical reaction or to get a chemical composition by adding the alloy or some of the mixtures of elements to a metal bath is known as the master alloy.
This is also known as an alloy in which one or more elements added in rich.
Eg: Deoxidation
Characteristics of Master Alloy:
- It used to improve in scrap replacing.
- Alloy Homogeneity is improved.
- It reduces the time for the furnace.
- It can produce high-temperature elements.
