Meaning of Automobile Backward Automatic Ranging System?

Automobile Backward Automatic Ranging System is used in wireless communications. It is the process of detecting whether a transmission was received by sending an initial signal to the transmitter and then listening for a response from the receiver.

The system typically uses an auto-ranging transceiver or radio that transmits at the same frequency as its intended target. When the target receives this signal, it sends back a signal with its frequency (the same frequency as the transmitting device) modulated onto it so that it can be compared using a spectrum analyzer. The difference between these two signals is called the “carrier phase”.
